It is on Instagram that Lamborghini has released an image revealing the front of a new sports car, while stating that it has been created in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Lamborghini has already announced that it will work with the MIT on ” the future of sports cars of the third millennium “. This is in line with the text that accompanies the image on the social network, which describes “the vision for the supercars of the future”
Although this is probably a concept which will be revealed at the EmTech conference in-house technology of MIT, on Monday, November 6, we think that Lamborghini and MIT have also been working on a Huracan hybrid for the next generation of the model.
The concept, as the first fruit of the partnership between Lamborghini and MIT, could be the first tangible example of the development of the battery technology in the solid state of the Volkswagen group, despite the assertion of Porsche, according to which the technology is being developed in them.
This concept should also make it great for lightweight materials, since we know that Lamborghini is working actively on the subject, making us think of the Sesto Elemento from the Paris motor show 2010. The former boss of the company, Stephan Winkelmann, told Autocar that Lamborghini ” does not wish to produce and show cars just for a museum, what makes us think that this new concept might, as the Sesto Elemento, be sold in small numbers.
