Volkswagen Beetle GRC 560 horsepower
The German Volkswagen brand take hold of the Chicago Auto Show to unveil a very special Beetle, which will debut in competition Rallycross in American soil.
Rallycross is a race against time which takes place on mixed routes (gravel and asphalt) and relatively short. They include bumpy sections so that cars can execute jumps of over 20 meters.
The Beetle GRC Rallycross
The American division of Volkswagen has joined Team Andretti Autosport to form the stable Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross. Together they will align two Beetle RCMP integral traction, driven by Tanner Foust and Scott Speed.
Both cars are powered by a TSI engine that develops 560 horsepower.
