At Ferrari, each presentation of a new model is an event, and it is in his exposition of the future product plan to investors, that the prancing horse brand has unveiled its two new crown jewels.
Here is one of inspiration, the Ferrari 750 Monza Spyder of 1955.
Exclusively designed for customers and collectors of the brand, the Monza SP1 and SP2 transport you directly to the middle of the last century ; when the trays reigned supreme in the circuits. Keen observers will immediately have recognized the genes of 166 MM, 750 Monza and 850 Monza. These versions 2018 of these legends of the 50’s are based on the latest sports brand : the 812 Superfast. Under their long hoods, so there are, logically, the V12 810 hp.
The interior is less retro with all those buttons and LCD screens.
Side performance, the 50s are a distant memory. The Monza SP1 and SP2 are the first models of a series called : Icona. A name behind which will be produced special series paying tribute to the sport of racing the most legendary Ferrari.
