Here is the hatchback of the fourth generation of Seat Leon. The lights are closer to the new SUV from Seat, the Tarraco.
If the new generation of Seat Leon is not expected to arrive before the end of the year 2019 on the market, we can already have a glimpse of his hatchback, thanks to a photo leak.
Output the beginning of 2013 and restyled at the end of the year 2016, the third-generation Seat Leon would probably have to bow out at the end of next year. The development of its successor, however, seems to be well advanced, as evidenced by this photo reported by our colleagues from Motor.es.
Inspired by the Tarraco Seat Tarraco Seat Leon 2016
Thus, we can see the hatchback, the new compact Spanish and discover including its rear light. These last are close to those of the new SUV, Tarraco, that Seat has just unveiled at the Mondial de Paris. They adopt the same triangular shape, even though they should be more fine.
Moreover, they are interconnected by a headband light, as on the SUV, and it incorporates the third brake light. You can also see the last on, on another photo of a prototype taken at night. Finally, the tailgate seems to be more rounded than on the current model.
On the front, although there is nothing confirmed for the moment, there is no doubt that the optics and front grille are inspired again of what we know about the recent SUV Tarraco and Arona.
Finally, this new Leon is expected, as the current one, borrow a lot on the technical side to its cousin, the Volkswagen Golf, the eighth grind we will be unveiled in the course of the year 2019. One thinks in particular of the new hybrid drives and lightweight, with an alternator-starter and a 48V battery.
