The Post daughter street scooter may electric delivery vehicles in large series production – the Federal motor transport authority has given the approval. The company’s chief Executive is stepping in to attack in a foreign country.
Deutsche Post receives an approval for the large-series production of its electric delivery truck street scooter Work. As the MIRROR reported in its latest issue, has issued the Federal motor transport authority (KBA) approval. So far, the commercial vehicle was sold with a small series approval. A mass production was not possible, because the KBA had found high levels of heavy metals in individual components. This is a Problem that the Post has fixed-daughter, who had originally been of the professors of the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University of Aachen founded.
Production of 20,000 units in the year planned
On Electric vans, the hopes are high: The e-Commerce is growing rapidly, and in order for the exhaust to grow volumes in the cities. Diesel vans are to be replaced by emission-free vehicles. So the Federal government wants to prevent driving bans for Diesel cars.
Street scooter-boss Achim Kampker wants to expand his company now. “Due to the large-scale permit large vehicle volumes for fleet orders to be easily approved, and also abroad,” says Kampker. At the end of may the company opened next to the factory in Aachen, Germany, in Düren, and is planning to increase the production to 20,000 units per year.
