The new Suzuki Vitara will offer a slight restyling. It will be unveiled to the World auto 2018.
The Suzuki Vitara offers a slight update three years after its launch in 2015. Program : minor cosmetic changes, new engine 1.0 Boosterjet. The new Vitara will be unveiled at the Mondial de Paris 2018.
Flagship model of the japanese manufacturer, the Suzuki Vitara is getting a little beauty in the margins of the Global automotive 2018. Aesthetically, the differences with the old model are not flagrant. The grille is new, the shields have been slightly redesigned, as are the LED daytime driving lights, integrated in the bottom of the bumper. Also note the appearance of LED rear lights andnew shades of the body, including the yellow in the photo.
Inside, thescreen of the onboard computer is now in colour, and Suzuki has announced it has improved the quality of the materials of the dashboard.
New gasoline engine
Under the bonnet, the 1.6 petrol 120 hp (Vitara 1.6 VVT) disappears. It is replaced by the newer 3-cylinder 1.0 Boosterjet already seen on the new Swift. If the power is less important (111 bhp) than the old 1.6 VVT, a turbo should greatly improve driveability. This new engine will be offered with the all-wheel-drive “AllGrip” option.
The rear lights are now LED. The onboard computer has a color screen.
The 1.4 Boosterjet with 140 hp, which currently hosts the Vitara’s will be maintained in the catalog. On the other hand, Suzuki does not confirm the presence of the diesel. We’ll know more at the approach to the World of Paris, where the new Vitara will be unveiled.
