The speed limit for motorways in Germany is divided. According to the current Germany, the trend in the ARD morning magazine, the half of Germans (51 percent) are in favour of the introduction of a speed limit of 130 kilometers per hour on German highways, 47 percent of citizens are against a speed limit.
The sentiment compared to November 2007 had not changed, as the issue had been discussed in the Public, it said. While men were more likely to be against the introduction of a speed limit, would be women rather.
