Volkswagen will unveil a concept car of compact pickup at the salon of São Paulo 2018, in Brazil. Smaller than that of the Amarok, this model will be launched in Latin America in the near future and could happen on other markets.
Volkswagen is preparing to unveil a new concept car at the salon of São Paulo 2018 (in Brazil), which will open its doors in November. If the name of the vehicle is still unknown, the first sketch unveiled by the manufacturer shows that it is a pick-up double cabin. Advertised as innovative because it provided a dumpster extensible, this pick-up is smaller than that of the Amarok. It is based on the same platform as the Volkswagen Tiguan and has a full transmission.
According to Volkswagen, this concept car will be close to the production model that will be launched soon on the brazilian market, where it will compete with the Dacia Duster Oroch. The manufacturer does not rule out the launch on other markets thereafter.
